GP led scheme: Hartshill Medical Centre
Brief
To develop a new, improved medical centre to accommodate five GPs and 6,300 patient population, and allow space for the practice to grow. The new centre will provide improved health services including an onsite pharmacy and a multipurpose room. Working in partnership with the existing surgery and NHS Stoke on Trent

Challenges
Keeping a long-awaited project on track with the practice and community on board.
Solution
Working closely with the client, practice and community to ensure involvement and progress through the design and development process. Conducting a series of design consultation workshops with the practice and community, led by healthcare specialists One Creative Environments Ltd designers of the new medical centre. A single-storey, 800 sq m building that will allow the practice to offer a wider range of services.
